A lot of people getting married recently and i juz attended my snr's one at Bintan... the wedding dinner part is quite standard wif food, songs and foto-taking... most of their relatives were all dressed up for the event.. as for us, we were a bit formal than casual.. haha... and i heard about how the groom proposed to the bride... haha.. it was quite sweet also... coz it was nicely planned with the help of his "brothers" and in front of a lot of people in one of the esplanade restaurants... =)
Bintan is not very developed though wif all the run-down buildings and vehicles... the roads are neva even and it's juz how amazing the old vehicles can go upslope... i was so scared that their engine may not be able to take it... haha... the things dere are relatively cheap, you cannot expect to see a shopping malls... all you haf would be a two storey opened building(complex/plaza) with shelter and some shops... but due to time constraint, i didn't get to walk around much.... though i still manage to buy a pair of shoes... haha... tat's where the payment part comes in... due to the low value of rupiah, my shoe cost 110,000 rp... but hor, i keep thinking it's 11,000... haha... so the person was like keep correcting wat we paid out.. haha... =p.... and somehow, they found us amusing... which we dun reallie noe why??... hahah....
according to one of my fren, Batam would be a better place to go.. coz wat you reallie get is malls... and not like complex/plaza in Bintan.. and actuallie the Bintan beach got nothing much also... but we haf concluded that the people dere are reallie very "u xian"... haha... and even the mosquitoes dere dun seem to bite people.... haha.. coz our room got a lot of them.. but hor, the next morning we woke up without getting any bites... hahaha... maybe if got chance, i would go Batam to see see walk walk... hee~
i very much needed a break from work... so would very much hope to go overseas to relax next yr... there's a Japan trip pending.... and other places i would like to go would be: Taiwan & HK.. i also dun mind Korean, and other asian countries... since it would be much cheaper than gg to places in europe and us...
