Went on a trip to Hong Kong with the sisters. First time dere for me and wt though and we had the itinerary all planned before we go.. But somehow, we din reallie keep to our plan... We skipped some of the places here and there.. travelling time is more than we expect and we keep getting lost though.. haha...taking the wrong bus direction twice, walking in the wrong direction, etc... haha...

27th March
With all the waiting and stuff, we managed to check into our hotel roon around 3 plus in the afternoon.. took a long and exciting cable car ride up to see the Giant Buddha.. orh.. the most exciting cable car ride i took so far... it's amazing how they manage to build it dere also.. since the surrounding are all mountains and nothing else... went up many many steps to reach to the top of the Giant Buddha statue... haha.. an amazing accomplishment for us... had dinner at food republic... yeah!.. the food republic tat we had in s'pore... so shld guess that the food wasn't fantastic though... merely good to fill our stomach... after tat went shopping at temple street.. nothing much macam like our pasar malam.. had my first taste of bargaining... haha...

28th March
had a free half day city tour... went to see the Peak, Repulse Bay, Aberdeen Village and some jewelry and herb wholesale factory... met with fog at the Peak, so we din get to go up to the very top of the peak... repulse bay was beautiful... nice sand and sea... home to many stars.... at night, we took the long long escalator at the SOHO.. nothing much reallie... haha.. and our dinner dere was horrible i would say... we din even finish half of what we ordered... went to look look see at Lan Kwai Fong (their night life)... seems quite happening... a lot of ang mohs dere... ended our day at the Avenue of Stars - handprints of HK stars and other popular figures...

29 March
Whole day at Macau/Taipa. A place filled with "portugues" touch and full of casinos... haha... the food dere are nice... had our first taste of nice food over dere finally... Hong Kong food comes in real big portion and dun tink it's reallie tat fantastic though.. went to see the St Paul's ruins... quite amazing that there is onli one side of the wall left though... went to pray at Kun Lam Temple, but not reallie very familar with the sequence to pray though... also went into one of the casino to look look see see... their table bets are quite a lot... so we onli set to play at the jackpot area... din intend to win any money so play on with the money that i deposit in...

30 March
started with the wishing tree.. due to damage done to the tree dere, they have now prohibited pple from throwing their wishes tied to oranges dere le... instead, now we haf to hang the wishes on boards... they are building any wishing tree though but i dun noe for wat... next went snoopyworld.. coz it was a sunday, the place is filled with kids and parents... so we merely took a few pix and left the place already... after which we went to hung hom to see the HK Coliseum (sth like our indoor stadium)... at first wanted to juz walk ard the place to see whether we can go in to see the stage or sth... den we spotted some reporters at the entrance... haha.. exciting.... after waiting for a few hours, we saw Tony Leung, Gigi Leung, Nadia Chan (chen song ling) and Jacky Cheung... haha... and they are reallie very close to us... coz at tat time, there were onli the reporters and a few onlookers like us... haha...

31 March
like the weather dere since it was not too hot.. a bit of drizzle when we went to Ocean Park... Ocean Park was quite fun.. I finally got the courage to take the "free fall" ride... woah... so exciting... actuallie, the whole exciting part is when u go up and wondering when u gg to fall... but after the first drop, the rest does not matter anymore... haha.... we tried our luck at the Peak again.. and took the 45degree Peak Tram.. real steep... bad weather so we din get to see anything also... went into the wax museum... had fun taking pix.. but i tink the number of stars inside is a bit disappointing... i thot there could be more...

1 April
Wong Tai Sin temple - had my first try in "jiu qian"... finally went back to Ladies market again to do our final shopping... tink Hong Kong is a good place to shop esp ladies' market.... orh the clothes dere are nice and not expensive... bought a lot of clothes dere but none is for work one... coz tink their blouse and pants all these also nothing much, similar to us... haha...

overall, hong kong trip was quite fun and tiring... haha... haf been feeling like a zoombie the following two days when i am back in singapore... practically sleeping all the time tat i haf... haha... will go dere again... but the next time i go will make sure tat i spend ample time at ladies market and skip all those tourist attractions like ocean park and stuff... haha...
